About Theresa in Her Own Words

My name is Theresa Nast and I'm the founder and designer of West Rock Apparel Co., a children's wear brand, a mom to 5 wild ones, and someone with a great deal of experience with postpartum mental health struggles. I hope by sharing my story I'm able to help someone else feel a little less alone in their journey.

My brand, West Rock Apparel Co., is a collection of baby and children's clothing for families who appreciate natural fibers and neutral designs, sustainability and ethically produced goods. For families who want to know where their clothing comes from, where it was made and who made it. I am creating a brand who will give back to the new mothers and babies in our community. And I just can't wait to get started.

Maternal mental healthcare is something that is near and dear to me. It is so widely stigmatized and many new mothers try to navigate postpartum depression and or postpartum anxiety alone, for many different reasons.

Aside from ethical clothing manufacturing and highlighting sustainable fabrics, one of my goals through West Rock Apparel Co is to give back to the new parents in my community struggling in their new role. These mamas and babies deserve to know they are seen and heard and loved.
