Ian shares how Athletes Excelling After Sports is helping in preparing athletes to make that same transition, we also discussed the often overlooked skills that athletes bring to the workforce. Ian is the Vice President, Model Risk Governance & Controls at TD and the Founder of Athletes Excelling After Sports (AEAS).

Ian Choy is a Toronto native who grew up playing baseball and eventually went on to play at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. At Canisius Ian was recognized as an ESPN The Magazine First-Team Academic All-American, EPSN The Magazine Academic All-District, Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, ECAC Division I Baseball First-Team All Star, NCAA Academic All-District I First-Team, and ABCA-Rawlings Northeast Region First-Team. Ian went on to play professionally in Australia for the Canberra Cavalry on the same team as current Philadephia Phillies Shortstop Didi Gregorius for a season before returning to the US pursuing a career in finance. Today Ian is helping athletes successfully transition from athletics to more traditional employment.
